Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy involves the injection of the patient’s own platelets and fibrin for the cosmetic treatment of wrinkles, scars or hair loss. Prior to treatment, a blood sample of 8ml-32ml is extracted from the client. This blood is immediately placed in the centrifuge for 5 minutes. When centrifugation is complete, your plasma will be separated from your red blood cells. The platelets are then injected into your mid to deep dermis of the skin. Platelets gradually increase collagen which can increase skin thickness and overall health of the skin. Every PRP treatment is completed with a session under our Healite II device.
