Bridgeton, Missouri, USA (and Maryland Heights, MO)
Overview
Kindeva is a CDMO dedicated to injection, inhalation and transdermal drug delivery. Formerly known as 3M drug delivery business, Kindeva has factories in Bridgeton, Missouri (155,000 sq ft sterile operating space, about 11,000 sq ft filling room) and Maryland Heights, providing aseptic filling (isolator technology) of vials, prefilled syringes, and cartridges, with an annual capacity of more than 150 million, covering small molecules, biopharmaceuticals, polypeptides, and vaccines. Its cartridge filling line is Syntegon 18 heads, 1–10 mL, 20-50 million units per year. Kindeva publicly disclosed that it developed the concept of dual-chamber/dual-cartridge and completed the proof-of-concept: lyophilized drug product is stored separately from the liquid medium, mixed/reconstituted in a syringe and injected (for particle/nanoparticle suspension administration) before use.
