How HMG (Menotropin) Works
The pituitary sends two signals to the testes: LH drives testosterone production, FSH drives sperm production. Anabolic suppression shuts down both, and restoring one does not restore the other.
HCG mimics LH only. HMG provides both activities, which makes it the more complete option where fertility is the goal.

HCG
is the standard tool: it restarts testosterone production within the testes and preserves testicular size. For most people recovering from a cycle that is sufficient.
