How HCG Works

Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG)

is a naturally occurring glycoprotein hormone that shares structural similarity with luteinising hormone (LH). When administered, HCG binds to LH receptors in the testes, stimulating Leydig cells to produce testosterone. This mechanism makes HCG invaluable for maintaining testicular function during exogenous testosterone or AAS use, when the body’s natural LH production is suppressed.

During a cycle, HCG prevents testicular atrophy by keeping the Leydig cells active and responsive. This means when you eventually come off cycle, your testes are primed and ready to resume natural testosterone production far more quickly than if they’d been left dormant. Many users run low-dose HCG throughout their cycle rather than waiting until PCT, resulting in a smoother and faster recovery.

HCG for On-Cycle Support vs PCT

On-cycle use:

Many experienced users administer smaller, regular doses of HCG throughout their cycle to maintain testicular volume and function. This “little and often” approach keeps the testes stimulated and responsive, making the transition to PCT significantly easier.

💉 Reconstitution Guide

HCG comes as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder and requires reconstitution before use. Add bacteriostatic water slowly to the vial, directing the stream down the side of the glass. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Do not shake. Store reconstituted HCG in the fridge and use within 60 days.
